Graduates from Animal Science are in high demand in agriculture, and in companies servicing the rural sector. Moreover, the state departments of agriculture are significant employers of graduates. In Western Australia, there is close collaboration between the animal production and animal health sectors of the Department of Agriculture and Murdoch University, which will enhance contact with the development and research officers of the Department during the degree.
