Postgraduate Study in the Australian Centre for
Necrotrophic Fungal Pathogens

 

 
 
We are the major national laboratory for the study of necrotrophic fungal plant pathology. We are well funded, have access to excellent equipment and are staffed by seven postdoctoral scientists, who can give intensive day by day supervision. We offer Honour's Scholarships to qualitied students.

Are you interested in post-graduate (Honours, ISC, PhD) work that will train you in functional genomics of pathogenicity and resistance? All techniques are applicable to animal and human pathogens.

  1. Functional analysis of genes required for fungal pathogenicity of Stagonospora nodorum on wheat.

  2. Genetic dissection of disease resistance using Medicago truncatula.
