RESEARCH SUMMARY Dr Gaal as a clinical pathologist has been working on research on metabolic disorders (fatty liver, ketosis) in dairy cows as well as changes in lipid metabolism of other animal species. This research has been associated with the study of different (metabolic, age-dependent, toxic) effects influencing the redox system of the animal body.
